Actually, I think it gets better from 12-U and up. In 10-U and down, everyone is full of old rumors and sandlot ball rules. Their brother's neighbor's 3rd cousin's boyfriend's dad told them 8 years ago about that rule, and by George, they know it's in the book that way.

The parents don't really get a grasp on ALL the rules, but they don't get quite as bad as the little kid's parents. At least in my experience, for the most part. Of course you're always gonna find the idiots who want to dictate the game and it's rules and refuse to listen. Like Mike says, it's in every age group. It really kinda hurts my feelin's when they don't want to let me decide how the rules should be enforced, doncha know?
