NFHS Rules - Roster Limit
Two questions, as I don't have a book handy.
1) is there a limit on the number of players that may play in a match. 2) is there a limit on the number of players that may sit on the bench? (And a possible corollary - does anyone know of any states that have an exception to these rules).

Roster - NFHS
The rule #7 talks about the roster and only states that a complete and accurate roster must be submitted before the 10 minute remaining mark of the warm-up period, and that an accurate line-up must be submitted before the 2 minute remaining mark of the warm-up period.
There is no limit on the number of rostered players, but the limit on number of players used would be 25 (6 starting players, 1 libero, and 18 substitute players) per set. There is no limit on the number of players on bench as long as they are on the roster. |
