Bandit or anyone else that mnight be out there. I went to our first two classes but have some questions. I'm sure these are very basic but would appreciate any help. here are a couple of them:
Rule 6 sec6 art 6......It seems to say that you cannot attack a served ball while it is above the net but the contact is legal until the ball crosses the plane or is touched by an opponent. this does not make sense to me.
rule 10 sec 3 art 3..........does that mean that a player who has been in the game before and re-enters must go where she was before? what if the players who were on either side of her have both subbed out and are not in the line up?

Was an R2 for one game of a seventh grade match, quite interesting

It is "legal" to attack a serve unless it goes over the net or is touched by an opponent. So, if you shank the attack and it runs down the net or is hit by a teamamte, it is legal. Now, the chances of that happening are nil, but it is there.

As far as subs go, forget 'who' is where, but positons on the floor.

If you think of the positions from server around to center back as 1,2,3 etc. You have to go back into that positon if you sub out. When the team rotates, that position will change. This is where your lineup card will come in handy, you will always know where that positon is on the floor.
