I would welcome the white shoes. Frankly, I'd love to be able to wear the same outfit for my college, club, and HS matches (navy pants, white shoes, white polo) with only a change in patch/patch placement being the difference.

Honestly, I've found the only people who prefer black shoes and the stripes are people for whom volleyball is a secondary sport. The people for whom volleyball is their primary sport overwhelmingly (only in my observations, and I'm not claiming unanimously) prefer the polos, white shoes, and navy pants.

Of course, your mileage may vary.

Speaking of beltless, I have three pair of Honig's B51s (size 36) I'm selling for dirt cheap. I'll let all three go for $50.

Dude, If you don't sell them and I lose a bunch of weight in Spring soccer, I'll call you. I promise. Really. I will.

I've only ever known the white polo shirt with black pants, black socks, and black shoes. Personally, I'm glad I didn't experience the striped shirt. I don't know how I would feel about white shoes though. I was looking at the TASO (Texas) web site a few months back, since that's where I'm originally from, and noticed that they wore the white polo with black pants, white socks, and white shoes. At the time I was thinking "yuck", but as Felix says, it's probably because I'm not originally a volleyball guy. Bear with me though Felix...I love volleyball and am working hard at getting better at it, though I know I'll never be as good as you!

Beltless. I wear them for basketball, so they do double duty for VB as well.
