Officiating Course

Just checking to see if anyone is offering an officiating course to introduce people to officiating at the grass roots level? I am not talking through an association like USAV but more basic so they may feel comfortable working Rec level ball to give it a try. I am trying to work with my local community college to offer an adult education course to learn about how to officiate various sports. Is anyone else doing something like this or knows of anyone doing anything like this? I would love to talk to someone who is already doing this to get some ideas.

I took a PE class like this in college. Units on baseball, basketball, soccer, & volleyball.

I also took this course in college. For me it was part of the major, however it would be interesting to see it offered as a continuing education course.

that might be something I look into doing in my area. Thanks for the idea.
