I can't find rule support for this but I remember being told that under NFHS the referee's jurisdiction ended when they verified the score. It's been a few years since I've worked more than a handful of NFHS matches though so I could be misrembering. I know that in USAV your ability to sanction misconduct ends at the end of the last rally. After that it becomes an issue for the arbitrator. That, I learned the hard way
