I don't think anyone I know would grant this. I know I would not. Resuming competition on the same day is far different than resuming competition on the following day.
A new day.. unless the event is being restarted from the beginning, this vaulter vaulter would be starting at the second height of the event.

He/she does not need any special warm-up for that.
