Hot off the press, the new rule changes for 2004 are on the NCAA website at http://www.ncaa.org Go to Sports and Championships, then choose Sports and Rules Committees, then Softball Rules.
We will have a new name for the "Tenth Player" formerly know as the DEFO. That player will now be refered to as the "Flex" Some good things, a couple that could cause just a bit of confusion, but I'm sure the new book will explain everything! Enjoy!

HOLD IT!! My info from Fastpitch Delivery was not accurate. They posted the changes in the newsletter and indicated the rule cahnges were available on the website, but I went there to get the complete text, and they are not posted yet.
Sorry, but I'm sure we will see them soon.
