If they were going to call one of the DP/DEFO players FLEX, it makes more sense to me to call the DP "FLEX" - after all, the DP can go in on defense for any player (other than the DEFO) at any time without affecting sub/reentry status of anyone. It is the DEFO who is restricted to not playing offense - how does "flexible" define THAT position??
