USSSA is very similar to Fed.
I haven't updated it yet, but I have a paper listing most differences between USSSA and FED for 2002 rules. Email me if you want a copy of last years edition. USSSA rules can be found on line at http:info.usssa.com/usssa/usssa-general/2002-03FPRulebook.htm The uniform in NC is Red USSSA shirts. The lower garmets vary. My booking agent uses grey slacks(I only do USSSA baseball and fastpitch). There is a group around Charlotte which uses the black shorts and USSSA socks. Roger Greene
