USSSA is very similar to Fed.
I haven't updated it yet, but I have a paper listing most differences between USSSA and FED for 2002 rules. Email me if you want a copy of last years edition.

The uniform in NC is Red USSSA shirts. The lower garmets vary. My booking agent uses grey slacks(I only do USSSA baseball and fastpitch). There is a group around Charlotte which uses the black shorts and USSSA socks.
