Dave I haven't decided if I should call it from the dugout or the outfield. Apparently, both have really great views! Screw green, it ain't easy being blue! I won't be coming here that much anymore. I might check in now and again.

Good news: After a record setting wet spring that cancelled about 3/4 of my games, we are sunny and 82 degrees today.
Bad news: I didn't have any games scheduled today. Good news: Assigner emailed and said I was needed for a 10:00 game this morning. Bad news: I show up at the fields and there are no teams. Good news: Just as I'm pulling out of the parking lot a league official shows up and says the games are on. Bad news: Games are at noon so I have two hours to kill. Good news: At least I'll get to do a game! Bad news: Its a 10U game. Good news: They pay 50 bucks for a solo umpire!
