The only travel guarantee in 1204 is one car round trip mileage at the state comptroller's rater, and the other car a $10.00 rider fee, though they do allow for officials to negotiate two separate cars getting round trip mileage. Of course, next year, this is all going to change. The UIL is going to make officials think they are getting a raise by raising game fees while drastically cutting mileage fees. I have already looked at their proposed adjustment to 1204, and for the majority of schools that I drive to, I will be making about 20% less per game, even with the so-called "raise." Actually, it sounds like you might be using a variant of the upcoming change with your "bullseye" mileage method.

Maryland checking in...........
Average is $65 - $70 for a V game and $55 - $60 for a jv.
My association is 1 1/2 fee for a 1 man game about 50% of jv and a few varsity games. If we show and the clouds open up we get a full fee, whether a pitch is thrown or not....... |

In our part of MD, one-umpire games are not permitted for varsity. We've had umpires work them, but apparently they did not count and had to be replayed.
