Whoops

Here's some Thurday humor.

As an assignor, I requested availability from umpires a couple weeks back for a tournament happening this weekend. One of the umpires who notified me as available for my event mistakingly sent me an email wanting to make sure he was assigned to the XYZ tournament this weekend.....problem is, he sent this to request to the wrong person. The assignor and the XYZ tournament is with a different association and different state.

Oh my.

One more reason I only call one ruleset, and only for one assignor.

I haven't decided if I should call it from the dugout or the outfield. Apparently, both have really great views!

Screw green, it ain't easy being blue!

I won't be coming here that much anymore. I might check in now and again.

Boring!

Really, the main problem with juggling 4-5 assigners is the timing. One will want availability for a weekend 2-3 weeks ahead, while the higher priority one only schedules a week at a time.

Did you tell him of his error or did you leave him hanging?
