South Dakota High School Sports
I just read this article and am suprised that the South Dakota High School Activities Association does not sponsor baseball or fastpitch softball; I checked the SDHSAA website to confirm it.

Thing is, it has been a while since the path to college softball passed through high school softball, especially if a scholarship is being sought.
