Post Season

I have been humbled.

Assigned through my HS association to our top spots: 3A/4A State HS tournament.

Also assigned to the ASA 18A Western National.

I'm pretty excited.

I haven't decided if I should call it from the dugout or the outfield. Apparently, both have really great views!

Screw green, it ain't easy being blue!

I won't be coming here that much anymore. I might check in now and again.

Base umpire, Field 4 at noon. Enochs/Lodi. Great game! Enochs scored the only run of the game in the top of the first inning.

Watched alot of that game. Partner dinged the Lodi girl last year for IP's like a gazillion times. That game turned into a circus. Same pitcher-she seems to have cleaned it up alot.

Judging by her size - I'm guessing 6-1 - I though she was going to bring the gas. But she wasn't really all that fast.

Where are you from? It was weird being the only NBUA (as opposed to NCOA) guy there. Cool though, meeting some new people. The umpire I worked with was great and fun to work with.

I'm an NCOA guy. Placer County. Not officiating right now. I started back to grad School in January so thats taking alot of my time.

I've been going eveynight to the Complex and hanging with officiating buddies. I'll be there all week.

So if you get bored come on over and say hi...The UIC there mentored me when I first started.

just ask the UIC where the tall, dark and handsome ex ump is hanging.

My high school post season is about to start - I've got a district semi-fainal and then a final coming up this week. Should be some good games.
