Fall softball in DE would cause the loss of a fair amount of umpires because quite a few are also football officials and they are going to work the football before softball EVERY time. Unlike our backwards neighbors in Georgia
, we have school softball in the spring. First practice 1 Feb, first scrimage allowed 8 Feb, official play starts 8 March.Quote:
