You're probably right. I can't remember when I had music on anywhere other than in my car.

I use my phone as my portable music player and have about 6 GB of music on it.

Some of my favorites (with links to some videos):

Concrete Blonde, Brownsville Station (another Brownsville video) , Rachelle van Zanten, Sue Foley, Steppenwolf, KT Tunstall, The Who, Bob Dylan, Black Sabbath, Joan Osborne, INXS, and The Cure.

I with you on the pre-game, 100%

For the rest of my listening, add earlier Jazz, Swing, Gypsy Jazz, etc, etc.

Also not mentioned previously (and somewhat outside of the Jazz world)would be Bob Wills, Johnny Gimble, Gram Parsons, Emmy Lou Harris, Lefty Frizzel, Willie Nelson, Roy Rogers, Asleep at the Wheel, ..........

It must be a Bob thing. I've never owned one, or even held one. I'm sure it would take me about two seconds to figure out how to upload music on one, but again, like Bob, I don't remember the last time I was listening to music anywhere other than in my car. Even in my car, I'm just as likely to have on sports radio or talk radio rather than music. Yes, I know it's possible to connect an iPod to a car stereo, but I already have satellite radio, and that suits me just fine. At work, my personal experience has been that engineering companies frown upon employees listening to music, especially if it entails using earphones. They want people to be able to hear their phone ringing, or pages, or to just be readily available when important people come to inform us of some dire, urgent googleygoop.

FWIW, if I did own one, I probably would load it up with the Dead Kennedys, Black Flag, Ramones, B***hole Surfers, Circle Jerks, Dirty Rotten Imbeciles, Sex Pistols, Gun Club, X, Joy Division, Damned, Iggy Pop, etc. Maybe throw on some Texas music like Joe "King" Carrasco, the Judys, the Dishes, and Rank and File.

It wouldn't bother me if SRW did have Britney on his iPod. Heck, I have a Loverboy album somewhere in my basement .

Do any of you know where I can get ' Be Bop Buffet" by Maynard Ferguson? That is the one song I am missing that I would love to have.

Eclectic Collection

From a-ha to ZZ Top and 18457 songs in between, nearly everything from Ernest Tubb to Celine Dion and Pantera, have between 10 to 15 movies that I rotate in and out. But then I was a disc jockey for 22 years and even owned a record store (remember records) in the 80's. Plus have three teen-aged daughters that keep me hopping into the new millenium.
P.S guilty have a bunch of Britney songs and even have Adam Lambert

You're welcome. I have come to the realization, many years ago, that I will never have a complete collection no matter how hard I try, even if I had the money to buy this collection.
