I see that over the weekend, a one-armed sheriff's deputy was allegedly insulted by an umpire in the town of What Cheer, Iowa.

I have mixed feelings about this incident, although I am leaning toward the Sheriffs Department conducting an administrative inquiry into the actions of the Officers. I believe that the inquiry is warranted due to the fact that this was an event where the Officers were representing the Sheriff's Office.

Let us all remember the dastardly case of the Texas Troopers insulting nonsuspecting midgets....
