How to react on this one?

last saturday after the plate-conf., the hometeam gets ready for 1st inning. Catcher asks me (I'm BU-3 in 3ump-crew) if I can't take the dish. He knows me and my partners as umpires. Clearly he's not happpy with the PU, game hasn't started even yet!

For the record:
1) Game 1 (max 5) Dutch Championship-final Male FP
2) Rule-set: ISF, more or less like ASA
3) Game 2 starts 20 min. after completion Game 1, Game 3 & 4 are next saturday, game 5 (if needed) on sunday

Ok, now how do you think I should react on this comment?

(My reaction will pass later...)

Good idea!

I would have said "no", being sure not to sound like agreeing with his opinion.

My reaction sounded more or less like this one: "We only have "Toppers"! (e.i. Top-quality in dutch)
The expression on his face was priceless when we entered the field for game 2, where I was PU. He was placed on F5

@Hugo,
Mostly the rule-set is left out, so I gave it even knowing it doesn't matter.
What does matter is the fact it's the Championship-final. These games are only worked by the international-umpires of the dutch federation. So the umpires know what to do. How stupid can you be to question the capability of the PU (an international umpire) before game starts?
I forgot to mention in 3) that I was PU in game 2...
