Line-up Card
Another situation from one of my umpires, NFHS Rules, R1 at third, 2 out. B4 safely hits, R1 scores, before the next pitch, DC protests that the line-up card did not list the number of B4. Umpire ruled B4 illegal and out no run scores. I know, I know that was WRONG, but that is what he did. I know that there is no such rule that if the line-up is in correct the runner is out in NFHS, or ASA, but is a NCAA there is such a rule (but don’t ask me to quote it). Is there such a rule in other alphabet soup ball?
