pop up between home and third , ball hits in fair territory, bounces into foul territory, before it hits the ground again the fielder while standing in fair territory reaches over into foul territory and touches the ball . fair or foul?

Screw green, it ain't easy being blue!

I won't be coming here that much anymore. I might check in now and again.

Foul. It is the position of the ball when touched, not the position of the fielder, their feet or any other part of the body other than that touching the ball.

Well, you could call fair feet if you like, but we call the ball foul.

One foot down in fair territory is all that is required in the NPF.

In the YSIF, if the fielder leans too far forward when reaching for a foul ball while in fair territory, a guillotine drops and beheads the player.

Still a foul ball.

And, she must secure the ball with the glove or bare hand. If she then places the glove with the ball under her arm to fix her hair...
