Unusual Experience..
Got conned into doing a T ball [softball] game last night when the regular blue did not show. Quickly reviewed the "rules" [grin] that were being applied. Things seemed to be going well. About the 3rd inning I did kill the ball a little quick, got just a few moans from Mama's. Then it happened. Little gal hits the ball is running to 1b, when her artifical leg comes off, bounces up and hits her in the face. When some of the shock was gone, I got over to her and she is bleeding pretty good around the face area where the leg had hit her. Her coach picks her up and carries her to dugout. All the parents [most] are yelling, crying, screaming, etc. Not this kid, she is sitting in dugout, blood on her face and asking her sister to put the leg back on. Coach nor sister knows how, and Mother is at the other complex watching her son play BB. This kid wants back into the game. I don't allow it, and time runs out before her Mom can get over to handle the situation. Needless to say I had talk with coach for not informing me of this unique situation. The young lady was fine, just upset that she could not finish the game..... Kids, gotta luv em.... glen
