SP Season #1 in the books
Our SP playoffs were this past Tuesday. We ended up winning a low-scoring semifinal game with a 2-out RBI single in the bottom of the 7th to advance to finals against the #1 team who beat us pretty bad during the season. They did the same thing once again, so we finished as runners-up. That's not too shabby for a league of nine teams where the top four made the playoffs.
No real news or questions, although when I was going to the 1B coach's box, I asked the umpire if SP used the ITB for extra innings if we didn't score in the bottom of the 7th. ![]() ![]() Anyways, I do want to thank everyone here for your pateince with my SP learning curve (and what most likely were SP 101 type questions). ![]() I'm definitely planning to obtain a rulebook for next year so I can get more familiar with the differences between ASA SP and the NFHS FP I'm more familiar with.
