Smile finally got my Pro Nine chest protector

After quite a long wait, I finally received my Pro Nine chest protector. I contacted Pro Nine directly and they told me that the large was out of stock until mid July. I am now ready for the HS softball season. When I tried it on I noticed it sure filled out my shirt a lot more than my previous protector. I will have to buy some new shirts now. As a plus, my wife says that since it is so big in the shoulder/chest area, it makes my waist look quite a bit smaller. My ego was all inflated by that comment only to be deflated tremendously by her next comment. "If you would get some big boots to wear, you would look like Herman Munster" Oh well, maybe I will see if I can get Grampa to do the bases for me and Eddie when we do 3 man. Dave

NB 450's should do the trick.

They are actually pretty streamlined. I finally upgraded from Walmart safety shoes.

I haven't decided if I should call it from the dugout or the outfield. Apparently, both have really great views!

Screw green, it ain't easy being blue!

I won't be coming here that much anymore. I might check in now and again.

I used the Pro Nine all of this and last year. A little big but great protection.

BigSig, did you also need to buy new shirts to accomodate the Pro Nine? I can wear my older shirts but they seem pretty tight. I also noticed that the powder blue shirts from officialgear are quite a bit longer than my Dalco shirt. I think in my current size it would be hard to keep my shirt tucked in. Dave

I have had one for three seasons now, and really do like it.

I am using the same shirts (Dalco and for ASA Elbeco) that I have always used.

Are you sure that it is the chest protector that is adding the size???

Have you tried using a flexi-belt? Comes 2 ways. Rubber with 3 rows of holes and a metal button on one end. Cloth with velcro. Having used both I prefer the velcro. Both do a good job of keeping the shirt from rising.

No, I've always used 3X for the plate.
