"Drop Dead" time limits
When the timer expires during a "drop dead" time limit game, with a batter in the middle of her at-bat, do you call it immediately or would you wait to finish the at-bat? Seen both, wondering about your thoughts.

That said, there are times when I would allow the completion of an at-bat; in an exposure/showcase setting where the result would not change the outcome of the game, for example.

Dave I haven't decided if I should call it from the dugout or the outfield. Apparently, both have really great views! Screw green, it ain't easy being blue! I won't be coming here that much anymore. I might check in now and again. |

In drop dead, I call it immediately. Even in middle of an at bat. The only thing I allow if for a play to finish (of course). Drop dead means drop dead time limit. Dont ask the TD. For what? Just kill it and go on. Its a show case. Treat it like one.

I just wish that the drop dead rule could be applied to certain coaches.
