Unhappy

I'm very unhappy about some postings by a gentleman named Jeff that goes by NC_Blue over on McGriff's board. I'm beginning to believe that he is a reject from FPF. He's angry like the majority of the folks on FPF when us umpires are right and they don't like it. Let me know what y'all think, either here, McGriffs or email.

Love ya,

Elaine:

From what I've read of his posts on McGriff's, he's a typical frustrated manager and/or player who hates rules that he doesn't agree with. And, the umpires who enforce them. I've seen hundreds like him.

All right Elaine...it will give me something to read when I get over there, as that was just where I was fixing to head after reading these posts.

Talking

Elaine,

I haven't been to McGrief's (pun intended) in over a year. From what you say I hope NC stands for New Calodina and not North Carolina. d.

"Lady Blue"

I have not read all NC_Blue's posts, just enough to know that he does
have a problem with authority. I noted that all the replies that he
received about his question were from high caliber officials and would
myself, been honored to have received posts from any of them on my question[s].
As stated by Bob this guy just looking for ways to create problems with
rules he does not agree with.

Red face

Bob,
Spelling close enough for a country boy. I'm watching the Braves on a TV tucked in a corner of my office, surfing the net, and conducting initial appearances all at the same time. Ain't life tuff???

Rog:

Life is GREAT. The baseball/softball seasons are going full bore. I keep the stats for the scoreboard operator at our local Class A club. I get to watch baseball for free, get all the food and drink (free) I want, and free tickets for family and friends. Can Heaven be any better?

Cool .02 worth

Elaine

As you know life is to short to let someone like this get you upset or even try to argue a point with because regardless of what anybody says he is already set that he is correct. So what I would do is just ignore all of his post do not reply because he has already made up his mind and is just looking for someone to argue with. Life is too short

As for my opinions on the subject jewelry in adult pitch if it looks to be unsafe, I will ask them to remove it. In the 1200+ games I have called in the last 3yrs+ I have never had anybody refuse so it has never been a issue.

As for players that are not to be out of the dugout being inside the field during the game, I dont allow it just as I dont allow extra balls lying around on the field or bats, gloves and etc. If it doesnt belong out there person or thing then it is not. Now in Adult leagues if they want to go set in the stands, smoke a cig or go to the concession stand when they are not playing it doesnt matter to me as Mike said on the other forum I dont get paid enough to babysit BUT inside the fences are mine and I dont need to be watching for things or people that shouldnt of been there in the 1st place

If I read some of NCBlue's latest correctly, he's saying that he also posts as Texas Red. I knew he didn't care for ASA, but ...............

Looks & sounds like one to ignore.

Please tell me this guy is not from TEXAS. I read some of
the post that I had not read and this guy just kept getting
more absurd than I would have imagined. Since he had to be
from somewhere NC sounded good to me....Sorry Roger. .

I think it is likely that post where "Texas Red" claims to be "NC Blue" was posted by neither one.

However, NC Blue does seem to be a troll.

McGriff's softball board has been remarkably civil for a very long time, given that it is completely open to drive-by trolls, with no registration required, etc.
