Fairly easy to do using the ITB.

Batter bunts, pops it up; caught fly ball, R1 doubled off second. Two outs.

Oops, BOO; now three outs, one pitch.

Speaking of ITB..

When I mentioned "ITB" at my latest ASA tournament, the Commisioner of SoCal ASA corrected me that "there is no such thing". It's TB in the rule book. So out of curiosity, when did the "International Tie Breaker" become "Tie Breaker"?

Probably when ASA separated themselves from ISF. The ASA tie-breaker is based upon the ITB.

It is interesting that the rule's correct name is the Tie-Breaker Rule in ASA. Yet, around here it is generally referred to as merely the International Rule!
