OK, Roger and Elaine, I'm ashamed of you both!
In defense of true Southern Culture (Hollywood version), I must point out that Jethro was from the Ozarks near the Missouri / Arskasas line. (Granny was from Tennessee). Gomer Pyle, though, was from North Carolina. OK... time to redeem yourselves: What state were the Dukes of Hazard from? Why is this on an umpire board?
