That is one of my pet peeves. To be left hanging by my partner when I am signalling IF On or Off or the number of outs. I have become accustomed to be being answered in those situations.

My pet peeve is an partner who will not give me the information for which I am asking.

If a team asks me to check with my partner on a pulled foot or dropped ball and it is a valid request, I do not appreciate my partner telling me about the young lady in the stands or a play on the next field.

I have had umpires do this to me for the sole purpose of not giving me any information which would result in reversing a call. How do I know? They were dumb enough to tell me!
