That's survival mode and you're not giving everything that you should to each game. Typically, my partner and I switch every game and we take a game off after each one. That way, I can give every game all of the intensity and effort it deserves.

Yeah, but the problem is when you have six consecutive games back-to-back like I do, you don't have the time to switch like that.

That is an absurd schedule. No one should ever have to work more than 3 in a row and that is only if an unforeseen problem arises or the three games is the day's total.

I agree, very absurd, but unfortunately, my association also does baseball, the Aunt Rosie's ASA tourney, the Hertel-North Park Fastpitch Tourney, in short, a hectic weekend.

I really don't like multiple breaks in a day, more likely to get tight during the break. Three plate and one bases Sat., two plates Sun., both 90+ degrees, over an hour drive each way. No stiffness or soreness and I'm older than most (all?) of you. I do still feel one of those foul balls on Sat., however.
