PC is the ultimate censorship. If a person states an option, has a view, or uses words that another disagrees with or finds offensive, the attempt to keep them quiet by namecalling is the first refuge (not the last these days) of scoundrels in an attempt to silence them.

With that, it sounds to me like this lady (using the term to mean only a female adult) could use some quality time with the self-hugging coat, and unless she is actually in one, stay far away from her and her daughter.

Believe me, I've never claimed to be politically correct, but I'm usually respectful. However, seeing as how I inadvertantly touched the nerve of a fellow member whose opinion I respect and value, I felt the need to apologize to him. It was most certainly not my intention to do so.

If anyone else was offended, too bad. You're not cool like John! Just kidding.

I haven't decided if I should call it from the dugout or the outfield. Apparently, both have really great views!

Screw green, it ain't easy being blue!

I won't be coming here that much anymore. I might check in now and again.

All's well in the jungle, John. If you didn't live so darned far away, I'd offer you a beer.

I'm sure John will accept the cost of a beer via snail mail
