Softball Base Runner
My daughter is a softball player - 3rd string varsity pitcher.
Since she rarerly plays what are the softball rules for base runnersd? Most of the time she sits on the bench; however, she is a very fast runner and slider. Her running time down to 1st base is usually between 2.6 to 3.0 seconds. Can she be a base runner for any player without being put into the batting line up? What High School rules apply to courtesy runners and substitution runners?
