I have found that the clear lenses are great for night games. Keeps the dust and dirt out of your eyes. I am sure everyone else in here works on pristine, well moistened fields and hence dust is not an issue. However, for me dust is a daily occourance and the clear lenses keep me from stopping the game to rub it out of my eyes.

I use Coyote glasses and they have interchangeable lenses one is an amber color. I find it to be great, it does not darken hardly at all so I can actually wear them after the sun goes down but they also cut out the suns glare in full sun conditions. They also tend to make that yellow ball seem brighter!! I had a set of Bolle glasses that had kind of a blue-ish green tint to there lenses that did the same thing, they were actually made for the optic yellow tennis ball. Personally I prefer the Coyote Durango glasses that I have now there are no rubber parts to degrade after hours of sun exposure and the amber lens works better at dusk and after! I am not sure on the E-pros but I bet they have one lens that does the same type of thing.

I haven't used those glasses before, but as a hobby, I do target shooting. I've found that my orange glasses are great for high contrast situations when it's either dark at an indoor range or overcast at an outdoor range. I've never called a game with them, though, as they do look like shooter's glasses.

I haven't decided if I should call it from the dugout or the outfield. Apparently, both have really great views!

Screw green, it ain't easy being blue!

I won't be coming here that much anymore. I might check in now and again.

1. I use the Bolle Vigalante sunglasses. They come with 4 lens - clear, smoke, primrose (lite red) & amber. You can buy an insert for your perscription if need it (which I do need). To me the lite red lens really brings out the optic yellow much more - even better than those blue lens on the market.
2. You guys are so lucky - the last 2 weekends in Colorful Colorado all weekend games have been snowed out & we are getting 8 more inches tommorrow.
