Darrell,

I can tell you, there will be some screaming and bloodletting, but nothing to figure out. Whoever OKC wants in control, will be in control.

If you mean the NUS, they have zero influence, and zero input. The Board of Directors will rubberstamp the Commissoner selected by a very short committee (Cress, Monson, and your area Board representative). The new Commissioner will have full control over his entire staff; only if he asks your Regional UIC for input, will any be given. He may get some guidance (read pressure) from the short committee, or the Board, to make (or avoid) certain appointments; but the Code gives the Commissioner full and final control of all staff appointments.

Um....for the record, OKC is short for Oklahoma City, which of course, by its very name is obviously a city, not a state. You know, like NYC, or New York City.

Insinuating CA isn't a "real" state? Don't think you will get too many arguments on this board!
