A little shift - Hijacking my own thread

Questions
1-3. Where do the trophy co.s get these images? Are they posed? Do they come from photos?

4-6. Why don't they use a depiction of correct mechanics? Are they trying to be over the top with safe call (pun intended)? Did the models for the statue get paid for their work and if so can I get in on that deal?
