Rec game today, 7th grade boys. Parents screaming the usual yadda-yadda-yadda. After the game, dad comes up to me and says, "When you get to know the rules, you could be a pretty good ref." I replied, "Fortunately for you, you don't have to know the rules to be a good parent." The look on his face lasted about 5 seconds. He may still not know whether he was complimented or insulted!!
