Question NFHS temporary runner

I know I read somewhere in the NFHS rule book if a baserunner is unable to continue and there are no available substitutes, the previous batter not on base is permitted to replace her as a temporary runner, but I don't remember the rule number. This is question number 96 on the fast pitch test for 2006. Could someone give me the rule number please? Thanks, Dave

You mean you can't just say "ghost runner"?

Well, you can, but someone will probably claim to be offended and you will need a lawyer for the $100mm lawsuit filed against you since the more appropriate word is "spirit".

This is high school... you can't use words that may breach the separation of church and state. So, "spirit" is out. How about "apparition"?

I ask permission before I say "God Bless You" after my catcher sneezes.
