On the show... I also liked the way the umpire showed up to be interviewed by the police / ADA (amazing how these crime shows make everybody a detective... but I digress...) several days later in his umpire hat.

He did kind of break the case with his observant parting comment, and he did mention getting his gear and heading for the car as desired. My wife commented about the glasses in his shirt pocket which she needles me about. Of course, we only need them for reading, not umpiring.
