And...there are 3,000 references to a "clicker," whatever that is.

I DO own a clicker. In fact, 3 of them. They came with the original "home" version of Jeopardy from back in the 1960s (yes, I was a nerd).

No, the clickers were for signals when in a procession, assembly, church, etc. The nuns used erasers the "turn around and shut up" attention-getter.

I made it very clear to all principals when my kids were in school that I would not hesitate charge battery if anyone at the school struck or ... them.
