2006 ASA Slowpitch Rule Book

Does anyone have any rules they could email me? I was told by a retired ump, that I can bat my entire roster and still field 10 (5 gals & 5 guys). I am thinking he also told me I can use any combination of my roster in the field as long as it is still 5 & 5. Only downfall is if a player is ejected, we lose. But if they are injured and leave the game then everytime that person is due up, we take an out.

I just need to clear things up.

To start, there is no such thing as an ASA Slowpitch Rule Book.

The retired ump is wrong as far as ASA is concerned. Obviously, you are talking about the co-rec game. Other than those players on defense, the only others which may bat are EPs (one of each gender).

There may be a local rule which allows this.

To answer your question, no, the rule book cannot be e-mailed.

Must be local rules. We have that in rec ball here in Dallas.
