Hey! I think we all love doing this, that is why we do it. However, I love being able to give my fullest each and every game I work, that is why I feel that the maximum I should do in a day is four. No matter how much you try and convince me, I know that after five to six hours on the ballfield, fatigue starts to set in and concentration starts to slip. I just don't want to be 98 percent there.

What is the most games that you have done in one weekend?
From Friday night to Monday 25. 4 Fri, 10 Sat, 8 Sun, 3 Mon. If you can work in a shower after about the 6th game, that really gives you a lift.

Here is what I usually do to keep cool and fresh, besides drinking a lot of water.

I bring a cooler with ice, water and rags in it. Between games I will take one rag and put it around my neck and use another one to wipe down my arms, legs and head. Keeping the cold rag around the neck for a good 5 minutes really helps quite a bit.

I bring a cooler with water, ice and spirits of ammonia with towels in it that I can refresh myself with, and keep myself cool with in this Texas heat. I still know that after 6 hours on the field, I am not going to be 100%.

Tournament: 8 plates on Saturday (6 alone) with 1 break in between. Then 7 on Sunday (4 plates, 3 base, all with partner, 1 break). Yikes.
