First Games of the year

Well, on to what we really like to talk about here. Had my first games of the year. A D-II tournament in San Antonio. Great weather, great teams and greater umpiring staff to work with. All 3 man crews and we absolutely had a tremendous time on and off the field. I hope this is a sign of the way things go the rest of the year

A pesimist might point out that the only direction things can go is down. An optimist couldn't help notice your good fortune in starting the season in early February.

I worked my first game (FHSAA) high school
pre-season game on 1/31. Just did first regular
season game last night.
As an old time CNY ump--what a pleasure it
is having a real season for high school softball !!
