I think, but I may be wrong, that the pics Rachel sent of you, you had on the regular power
blue, with ASA cap. She stated that these pics were taken from the Mn. state HS tournament.

Thank you all! I got the picture yesterday, but got busy and never got the time to reply! I owe you all a cold one (soda, beer, whatever you like...) for all the help. I have the next games tonight, and I will let you know how it all goes. I feel a bit better, and have a plan going in this time. I am sure that plan will change about 50 times before hand, and I will still be kicking myself, but I feel that in the downtime I have done all I can do for starting out.
Again, you're a wonderful group! I plan on being around in preparation for future games. I am done for the year (I think) after the two games tonight. Short season. But the wonderful group here, and the lack of organization in our league, has made me try to come up with ways of making things better for our girls. Thank you for the inspiration! |

Quote:
The MSHSL (Mn State High School League) runs high school interscholastic competition in MN for everything from speech and fine arts competitions to athletics - similar to UIL in TX. During the regular season and the state HS playoffs, the uniform used is an un-logoed hat and shirt, with the shirt being the one pictured here - powder blue with red & white trim. The State High School All-Stars tournament (that I was privileged to officiate in this year, and where Rachel took the pictures of me), is not put on by the MSHSL. It is, in fact, put on by the MSF (Mn Sports Federation), who is the state ASA commissioner. So, it is run with ASA umpires wearing ASA (actually MSF) uniforms, but is played under NFHS rules.

During non playoff games I will occasionally even wear navy. Dakota is correct. I actually purchased the photo from a company called 20/20 photography. They take the photos for the High School League. What was cool is that they had taken about 30 shots from the same angle and I was in the same place for each of them.
