I had a game recently where the catcher as constantly flipping her mask off straight back and hitting the umpire. I can expect her to flip off her mask on a pop up or getting ready for a play at home. But she was flipping it off every time the batter hit the ball. This was becoming very distracting and painful as I was hit several times. I ask the catcher to please watch what she was doing. Was this correct of me or wrong? The coaches said it was wrong. I said they weren't the ones getting nailed several time during the game for no reason. Please advise.
