This was becoming very distracting and painful as I was hit several times. I ask the catcher to please watch what she was doing. Was this correct of me or wrong? The coaches said it was wrong. I said they weren't the ones getting nailed several time during the game for no reason. Please advise.
Why are you behind the catcher after a batted ball?

You may want to address this to the coaches, but at the same time work in getting out from behind the plate a little quicker. Between the two, you should feel less pain.
