And, as strange as it seemed to the Illinois & Ohio St. poster to root for Michigan, how about someone from Pac-10 country rooting for a Big-10 team against a Pac-10 team?
The answer is when a local player goes to Michigan! Congratulations LoriLyn Wilson from Sprague High in south Salem, OR! (Of the thousands of kids I've umpired or otherwise worked with, she's my first "alum." to get to a DI National Championship game.)
