Sorry if I was misunderstood - I definitely don't stop the bat, and no one would ever mistake this for a bunt... I was merely disagreeing with "The preferable result is a hard grounder or a line drive, rather than a "flare" or a slow dribbler". My preferable result is actually the flare.

Sort of. Not just a T-Leaguer, but one with as much spin to the right as possible. Sort of, well, a flare.
