Do you ever feel you're giving defence this advantage when you couldn't prevent beïng hit by a pitch? I've learned to stay in the Slot a long as the ball is in front and/or besides the catcher. If you're hit at that moment, so be it. We wear protection. If catcher has advantage, lucky him/her.
But.... does the catcher trully has advantage? Ball ain't in the glove, but somewere on the ground. You know where it is, but you can't tell. And the runners still moving foreward. So is there any advantage???
