1. Game last night. Player enters game in 3rd inning but doesn't report. Bats and strikes out in the top of 4th.In the sixth inning she bats again and hits a double.Opposing team calls time and tells ump she is unreported sub umpire checks his card and call her out for not reporting. What is the rule as a rule book around here is hard to find?

2.Runner between 2nd and 3rd interferes with shortstop fielding a ground ball. They call runner out but allow run to score. I know the rule in baseball but homeplate ump said rule was different in high school softball.

Short Version

I"ll take a stab at these.

1. The rule reference is 3-6-12. It seems to be an unreported sub. So team warning issued and next offender restricted to bench.

2. Rule 8-6-10. all runners must return to last base legally touched at the time of interference.

Now this is the short version, there are lots of different scenarios within these two answers and there have been lots of threads about them. But this might work for those who are busy.

Assuming NFHS rules.

The penalty for an unreported sub is a team warning and on the next offense for that team, the player is restricted to the bench. There is no out charged. It does not matter how long the unreported sub has been in the game.

Interference is an immediate dead ball, so did the runner cross the plate before or after the interference?

This must have been a very slow rolling ball that SS sits and waits on,
while a very slow runner on second makes the contact and a very fast
runner on 3rd scores.

And I can't count on my hands and feet (not enough digits) how often I've seen OBS on R stealing B2-B3 with F6 coming in on the fake bunt.

Apparently there is a kind of INT/OBS Bermuda Triangle between 2nd and 3rd.
